Have no fear, I'm not about to get all preachy on you. Im not trying to take down the commercialism of Christmas - I love giving gifts, sending cards and making fancy in everyway possible. I don't think those things are trite - doing those little things and putting in the extra effort to make those close to you feel special is worth it! But Ive noticed that a packed to do lists can sap some of the holiday cheer from even the best of us. I hope this little poster can serve as a reminder to hold dear to things that are worth it for each of us.
I'm sure keeping Christmas means something different to everyone. What does it mean for you?
PS: If you like free stuff, stayed tuned the next few weeks. I have a couple of other freebies coming up that you might be able to use in your holiday preparations.
Whoa..........I am so not ready for Christmas yet.
ReplyDeleteI loooove the holiday season- it puts me in a good mood already thinking of decorating our home, deciding what gifts to give and what to cook. I try not to stress, but have FUN and just enjoy it. And of course, Christmas will be that much sweeter this year with our little baby here:)
ReplyDeleteI am so ready for Christmas! It's different because our Thanksgiving (Canada) is long over so the focus is Christmas after Halloween! Not everyone would agree but that's me! I can't wait to print this out! Yay! Thanks so much!!
ReplyDeleteOoh pretty! I'll admit it... I wrapped gifts last week. =) I figure the more I do now the more I can relax and enjoy in December. I love your mini poster and love your printables! I'll be linking.
ReplyDeleteI love gift giving so Christmas is great for me. More than anything I love being with my family and friends. Great freebie!
ReplyDeleteI am with Jill......not ready for it this year. Same as last year. Moving the month of November, BOTH years, will do that to you.
ReplyDeleteI love it! I can't wait to start really planning for Christmas. Maybe after Thanksgiving :)
ReplyDeleteThis year, my biggest project is to create a gluten and dairy free gingerbread house with my sons.
ReplyDeleteAs a kid, I begged for the kit and my mother always refused.
Also, I plan to bust out the sewing machine and create some amazing personalized bean bags for the wee ones in my life...
All three of these have been really adorable and I think it's awesome of you to do this!
ReplyDeleteChristmas means getting to hang out with my family! and present of course!! lol
ReplyDeleteI am not allowed to start decorating until after Thanksgiving, my fiance put his foot down. ha.
I love Christmas! WIth three small children at home it's even more special! Of course the 25th is the culmination of the entire month, but we spend all of December celebrating the awesomeness of baby Jesus' birth - that God became a man and gave himself up for us - that we don't have to earn our salvation. What a tremendous load lifted! What a precious gift. What a wonderful reason to party all December long!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented! I can't wait to see what you're up to!
Any chance we could have a "Christmas Tour" of the limestone?
Love the design and the message!
ReplyDeleteKeeping Christmas to me means putting God first and family close behind.
Can't wait to see what the next weeks entail on Brooklyn Limestone!
Adorable! I am so ready to start decorating for Christmas! Do I dare admit that I'm sorta wanting to change out one of the colors of my tree decorations? I have used silver/blue/white for the last three years and sorta getting tired of it? What do you think? How often do you change out your ornaments? hugs from conroe, tx
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting this! That aqua blue color is just what I'm planning for my decorations this year. This print is going to look great up on the wall.
ReplyDeleteLove it.
ReplyDeleteI'm all for being Thankful, but Christmas is IT.

Thank you for this freebie. Even though I found it eons later, it would be a perfect icon for the project I've started called Twenty-Fifthmas. I am determined to keep the feeling of Christmas alive all year and will do something for and in the spirit of Christmas on or around the 25th of each month. Even though this is a freebie, I hope it's ok to use as the icon on the FB page. Credit back of course. <3
