I started off making a big rectangle and strung that to the center of the chandlier using fishing line.
Then I filled out with extra branches, using some battery operated lights and hung some glittered snowflakes over the table.
Now I just have to finish decorating and get cooking. How is everyone doing on their holiday prep?

My holiday prep is done! Then again, I'm not having any guests over, so I'm just decorating for myself. But that's half the fun anyway, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI looooooooooove this look! I'm a branch lover, they always always look fab! I did this last year in my dining room with some HUGE manzanita branches and I loved it so much it didn't come down until February. Such a festive and fun display, so so so pretty!

ReplyDeleteUgh, I'm so very behind this year w/ the basement goings-ons. We finally finished buying gifts & last night we slapped up som twinkle lights & those very same glitter snowflakes (silver) & called it a day.

ReplyDeleteHa! I made a brancholier out of an old dead key lime tree...for the season...years ago. It is STILL up! It does get seasonally decorated from time to time!

ReplyDeleteLovely! I saw something similar in Burdick's chocolates in Harvard Square. I thought I might give a go this year but I was too intimidated by it. I was trying to hide a ceiling fan I am not thrilled with. Next year I hope to have a chandelier in its place.

Your home looks absolutely beautiful! I'm looking around for inspirations and ran into your blog a few months ago and I must say I'm a real fan. We just purchased a two bedroom in Prospect Heights and although it's not a brownstone (I wish...) we want to make it very nice and bring back some of it's charm.
