So I've already shared some free gift tags, our new tree and DIY monogram topper. What else is there?
Our Christmas cards of course. They are just in the mail so Ill have to wait until they arrive before sharing. (click here for cards of christmas past: 2010's chap stick; 2009 tea towels; round up of 04-08)
I'm pretty much done with my shopping and I have a little more wrapping to do. I am waiting for some fresh wreaths to arrive to do one more project and I think I'm all caught up on Christmas. I didn't quite make my Dec 1 deadline but close enough. Now I have the next few weeks to kick back and really enjoy the season.
Its just turned icy cold in NYC so that is definitely putting the Christmas spirit in high gear for me (Hard to imagine Santa clonking on the roof when its 70 degrees).
I'm looking forward to ice skating and hot chocolate later this week. What are you looking forward to?
Your hous is looking so pretty all festive!
ReplyDeleteI always love your holiday decor. So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteThat first photo montage is so pretty!! The blue and red are such a festive and not expected holiday color combo!
ReplyDeleteAh I'm SO jealous- would you believe I haven't done a lick of shopping or decorating? I'm sooo behind this year. Your house looks gorgeous as always!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! How in the world do you get such great indoor pics - at night even!!! I'm sure you've shared this before - but what camera and lens do you use?
ReplyDeleteLovely. *moves in* ;)
ReplyDeleteOoh, we definitely need to get down to Millenium Park for some holiday ice skating! It's one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to your christmas cards every year! Oh, and great decorations!
ReplyDeleteThe red ornaments on the teal tray look gorgeous! I wish I was done decorating - I fear the last thing will be put into place on Christmas Eve!
ReplyDeleteLove love love! the colors in your home- Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to my daughter coming home from college this week-- she's my right-hand gal in the gift wrap department and we love doing it together. Enjoy ~ your home is perfect for kicking back and soaking in the season. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, your house is insanely gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteYour home is beautiful. Did I just read about you in some magazine that I can't remember the title of right now? I "borrowed" your gift tags(beautiful)and packaged them in glassine envelopes with some extra red/white and turquoise/white twine, a few candy canes. I plan to hand them out to co-workers as a "wrap up" to our work year. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYour buffet behind your couch looks gorgeous - the whole room is fabulous. What a beautiful Christmas
ReplyDelete-Beautiful pictures...love the lighting. You are so lucky to be at the point where you can enjoy all the fun stuff of the holidays like wrapping and hot chocolate!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I was as organized as you and sorted with all my christmas shopping but I'm not. :( Your house looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love the bare branches on the sofa table. I think they should stay year round :)
ReplyDeleteLooks great! You said you were waiting for your fresh wreaths to arrive...out of curiosity, where do you get them from? I used to always pick up all of my Christmas greenery on the corner of Atlantic & Clinton :)
ReplyDeleteLovely as always.............I am soooo in LOVE with that bowl with the ornaments.....WHERE oh WHERE did you ever find something so gorgeous?
ReplyDeleteBeatifully done.
ReplyDeleteThe bowl or the ornaments? The ornaments are cheapo ones from Target. The bowl was purchased from Pottery Barn outlet a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteI get them from an online company : http://www.greenvalleychristmastrees.com/real-christmas-wreaths-s/30.htm They seem to last longer and smell fresher than the ones I can find on the street.
ReplyDeleteHa - they do! I've had them since 2010. Im thinking I should probably replace them at some point but I'm not ready to part with them yet.
ReplyDeleteI'm usually last minute Charlie with this stuff. Its only because I started early and put myself to task that I have gotten anything done. Im sure Ill be racing around last minute next year :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. Glad you could put them to use!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures actually have a little color cast that is not quite right but I was too lazy to bother fixing. That said, its not too hard to white balance, I just didn't do it. Pretty much any camera does the same thing - just have to know how to use it.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your cards for this year. I'm still working on mine, I'm never this late getting them done!
ReplyDeleteso beautiful and glittery!
