Unlike my prior invitations that have been ahem, a little more macabre, I'm leaning toward the more family friendly. Not to mention easier (and tastier) to assemble!
Materials used: Glassine Bags | Green Apple Jelly Slices | Glitter Washi Tape | Label Paper
The decorations are spectacular, and the invitations are very creative. However, I am not sure about the choice of "Poison" apple slices when we are trying to teach our young children about the dangers of poisonous substances.
ReplyDeleteMaybe "Enchanted" would have been a better word?
Thanks Geraldine.
DeleteTo each their own on the wording. As you can tell from previous years, I like to keep it a little on the dark side and Halloween is all about make believe. But parents are free not to share their candy with their kiddos if they are concerned about them getting confused with real poison. Maybe a good excuse not to share the candy too :)
LOL! I love the "poison" candy!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sammy!
DeleteAbsolutely awesome, I love every bit of it! Your endless creativity never ceases to amaze me.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Ian's Girl.
DeleteGlitter washi tape - oh, my! Witches everywhere will now be updating their green-striped socks for the season with this find. Your spookfest gathering promises to be a cauldron of fun, especially since it will be the first one with little Oscar.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I don't think he cares much for the holiday but we'll make a little halloween lover out of him eventually :)
