I'm taking a mini break from all things home in honor of the 4th of July. We'll bbqing and enjoying fireworks just like most everyone else who is lucky enough to have a day off.

Fantastic fireworks...visit me, we were both thinking about fireworks! Bringing back photos of displays of collections for inside your frames. You will love the idea... totally you!
I really enjoy your blog. I am the new kid on the block with this blogging thing but I think I will enjoy it. I will be adding more to my blog soon. I will be back to see what new and interesting things you have and are doing. Have a great Holiday!!!
Hi! I got here via Mabel's House. I'm drooling over your blog! I so envy you for having done such an exciting thing as renovate an old house in Brooklyn - something I've always fantasized about (well, not necessarily in Brooklyn) but never had the nerve/guts/money/skills to do!! I'm trying to start at the beginning and read forward in time.
My house is totally unlike yours - a little 1962 mid-century split level in LA, looking out over a rustic canyon.
Have a nice holiday, and if you feel like it, come visit my blog, too.
I just discovered your blog and I love it.... but I am in the market for that exact silver metalic looking table with the cool legs for $140 -- where did you get it? I think it would be a fabulous desk-- thank you Diane
