My body is extremely confused about what time it is - it feels like late afternoon to me and its not even noon!

For those that don't know it already, any guesses of where I've been?
Here are some hints:
1. Its been on my must visit list since I was a little girl.
2. There was a chill in the air.
3. Several people tried to dissuade me from going.
I have no idea really, but maybe Iceland? Greenland? Sweden? Norway?

ooh, I was going to guess St Petersburg (because I want to go there, but maybe people woulld dissuade me??). But it seems rather far for a weekend.
