See, I told you there would be more Halloween posts. Since several of you mentioned you might be having Halloween parties this year, I thought I'd give away a little digital freebie. A toe tag inspired Halloween invitation!

I made this one really simple. Just print on cardstock, cut it out and fill it in as you like. If you want to get fancy, I'd suggest punching a hole at the top and threading some string before dropping it in the envelope. Now isn't that simple?
Hmmmm...I'm looking at the calendar and realizing Im even more behind on my own invitations than I realized (if you haven't guessed already, these are not them). How did it get to be mid September? Anyway, more to come on those later.
Hope you can put this to good use. If you do use this, please let me know and I can post some variations on it for menus, drink tags, etc..
Anyway, a little gift from me to you. Hope you enjoy them.
Many thanks to Reba for pointing out there was a mistake with the original file. All fixed now.
haha this is too fun! Very creative with the toe tag idea lol.
ReplyDeleteThese are so awesome! I already sent out my invites but please, please post more fun things. We heart freebies!
ReplyDeleteI'm even more excited to see your "real" invitations and party decor.
Adorable! I just purchased personalized magnet invites for my party, wish I had this awesome toe tag invite before I did so :/
ReplyDeleteSooo wishing these said "City Of Boston"! They're adorable. Now that we've decided to have a party, I've gotta get my buns in gear and get the invites out!
ReplyDeletethx i think i will use them for our annual halloween dinner this year - would love to see more menus etc
ReplyDeleteSo clever! It would be funny to tie a bloody cut off toe (if they make them? I know they make fingers...) to the string and mail it to guests in a box. I want to have a Halloween party too! Hmm...
ReplyDeleteOh no! Am I misreading "Department of Heath"?
ReplyDeleteSo cute otherwise :)
What are you talking about, it is not mid September! Really...this came as a surprise to me!
ReplyDeleteNo halloween party here...I'll be fortunate to just get the decorating done to a level that pleases the kids!
Great invite idea, though. Someone is going to LOVE winning them!

This is hilarious. Great idea! I must say, I have never been a huge Halloween fan but recently picked up Martha Stewart Halloween magazine and there are fabulous ideas. I think I am warming up to this holiday....
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome!!!! I totally want to have a halloween party now! Thanks a ton!
ReplyDeleteHow awesome are you?!?!
ReplyDeleteI already designed some basic/halfway cute email invites but I may have to reconsider...dilemma! So excited you have more to share! I'm planning on doing some cool labeled specimen jars, etc. If you have any dandy tricks for those!
too fun!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute!! What a great idea for an invite.
ReplyDeleteI cant wait to see what yours look like this year!!
I soooo wish I was having a Halloween party now. Hmm...maybe we'll have to have people over for carving, I just love this! I'll be linking.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun Halloween decorations! As a former RN I had to use the real things many times...eeek!
ReplyDeleteI am dying to have a Haunted House!
ReplyDeleteYour friends and guests are so lucky to attend a party hosted by you. I always love your creative ideas.
ReplyDeleteThis is creepy and awesome all at the same time! I can't wait until Halloween!!
ReplyDeleteI was considering a party and now you've given me an excuse! LOVE it & would love to have a menu card and other printables to go along with it. Thanks soooo much, these are adorable!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I think we're actually throwing a party this year, so I plan on using these.
ReplyDeleteI am loving the toe-tag idea! That would be a lot of fun attached to a toe like others have said!
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious! It took me a couple secs to get it (maybe I'm a little slow like that!), but so funny! We live in Westchester, and actually get about 400 trick-or-treaters. It was our first Halloween in the house last year, and we ran out of candy!
ReplyDeleteThese are dang clever! I don't really get into Halloween, but these make me want to have a party just so i can use them! Thanks for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteWhitney
if you are still willing to post some variations of this, i'd be thrilled! i am leaning towards using this, unfortunately i live in lebanon, not new york, would it be silly to use?
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. What a great idea. Who would have every thought of a toe tag. Love it.......
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome!!
ReplyDeleteWe have an annual Halloween Bash as well and I usually send out the invites October 1st, so you putting these out in time works well and it's so unique. I might attached a fake dead toe on them just for kicks!
Thanks so much! Can't wait to see what else you have.
Thanks so much for the toe tags! I have attached them to plastic 30cm skeletons and hung them inside black wine boxes as my sons party invites! Really happy with them - thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThis is very cool! I can see an invitee becoming really perplexed about the 'department of health' stamp! They would have to show up just to see what the party was all about!
ReplyDeleteThis looks totally amazing! I really mean it! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool. Did you design/create the image? Do you have a version without "you are invited" on it?
ReplyDeleteStefanie, these are awesome! I shared them at:

I just stumbled onto your site AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! This is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI love these, they are great! What program did you use to make them? I am organizing a fundraiser for a new horror theatre org, and I am looking for something to use as tickets to the event, which will be July 17. If you have an editable version of the file, or if this is a challenge that appeals to you, please let me know! Thanks very much.
ReplyDeleteThis is great! :)
