Thanks to everyone who played the guessing game about our last trip.
1,000 points each to From the Right Bank and Lime in the Coconut for correctly identifying Bali. (Anon correctly identified Hong Kong but since she didn't leave a name, I've got no one to credit)
As you can imagine, I have plenty to say about each location but I've run into a snag. I expected to have loads of photos to show you by now but I just haven't had time to go through just yet. With Halloween nearly here and me with zero free time lately, that isn't happening. So if you enjoy my travel posts, I hope you'll stick around until I have a chance to put one together.
Oh Fun and exciting!
ReplyDeleteOh, your pictures are definitely worth waiting for. Travel photos, Halloween photos. Please bring them on.
ReplyDeleteOf course we'll stick around! Take all the time you need, we'll be here. Seeing your travel pics is how I vicariously live out my travel fantasies. =]
ReplyDeleteDarn, wrong on both counts! Bali is amazing, one of my fave places in the world.
ReplyDeleteOh, I can't wait to see your images and take on Hong Kong. I traveled there with Isabella when she was a year old to meet up with my husband who was working there. It was very interesting to travel in Asia with a blond baby...
ReplyDeleteJanell

ReplyDeleteWow.wow.wow! You are a jet setter!
ReplyDeleteHow Jealous am I!!! Not fair!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear about your trip. Have a fun party.
ReplyDeleteI will definately check back! Love the idea of travel guessing games!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh. i can't WAIT to hear. those are two places on my to visit list :)
ReplyDeleteThe Halloween party comes first. No time to wait since it's almost here.
ReplyDeleteomg that is where we went for our honeymoon!!! How long did you go for?
ReplyDeleteLifeBegins@Thirty: We went to Hong Kong for 3 days and Bali for 6. Add a few days for travel time there and back and we were away for 11 days.
ReplyDeleteThat is so short for such a long flight! You must have been jet lagged! We were in HK for one night on the way there and 2 on the way back, but were in Bali for 2 weeks so the fact that we slept for the first 2.5 days wasn't so bad! What an incredible place, eh?
ReplyDeleteWhoo hoo! We did a Hong Kong + Bali trip a few years back. It was such a good trip! Looking forward to seeing your photos.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I just visited Hong Kong last spring, so I definately would have identified the Giant Buddha! Did you take the aerial tram to the top? Our daughter lived and worked in Hong Kong for two years. Our other daughter just came back from her honeymoon in Bali and Indonesia. Great fun (especially the cab rides according to her)..
