Steal this Idea*: Bleubird's Pom Pom Wreath

Its Friday (yippee!) - time for another Steal this Idea* feature - a tiny show of appreciation for a well executed tutorial. I stumbled upon this whimsical take on a holiday wreath over at Bleubird Vintage and just had share.

Am I the only person who had no clue you can MAKE pom poms? Whoa. You just rocked me world. Aside from that revelation, lets get down and dirty.

She started off with this:

Made a bunch of these little guys...

And ended up with this

So cute! Aside from its obvious Christmas uses (think of all the color combos you could make!), the same technique could be used as a great piece for a kids room or whimsical party decor.

  7. Pom-Poms are everywhere right now...I don't think I've made one since I was 11, maybe 12? Love that wreath, hope to find time in the next few weeks to make one for my sad front door!
