Its Friday (yippee!) - time for another Steal this Idea* feature - a tiny show of appreciation for a great idea and well executed tutorial. Today's idea is comes from a blog I've been following for quite a while, Yellow Brick Home.
After failing to find what she was looking for in an outdoor tablecloth, she took some drop cloth fabric and paint to make her own. This chic space looks plucked from a magazine to me. Who would have guessed it was on the cheap? Love.
Pop over to Yellow Brick Home for more details about how she made this great accessory from odds and ends.
postscript: *When I say steal, I really mean borrow nicely and give proper credit!
**If you have an idea/tutorial you would like me to consider for a feature, email me. I'd love to see!
I want to steal that grey kitteh!

What a cute idea! I actually really like the subtle colors, but this could be done in any number of colors to suite your tastes!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog just in time. My husband, Steve, and I have to renovate our home in a short period of time. Too long a story to tell here but I am finding it exciting and a bit scary all at the same time. I will be visiting your blog often to get tips and ideas for sure!
ReplyDeleteCan you wash the painted cloth?
