Its Friday (yippee!) - time for another Steal this Idea* feature - a tiny show of appreciation for a well executed tutorial.
Today's installment is a little bit different because its not just one idea but several that have me wishing I had a pile of yardsticks lying around.
Have you done anything with old yardsticks and rulers? I want to know!
How about transforming a sidetable with them? This gorgeous specimen is from Patina White.
This yard stick coat rack tutorial from DIY network gets extra points for using NEW yardsticks and finishing them to look old.
Or an impactful pendant shade from A Case of the Mundays?
Or what about a chicken coop from The Lettered Cottage?
The uses are endless! I searched high and low for a dresser embelllished with yardsticks but couldn't find one. That would be such a great piece.
postscript: *When I say steal, I really mean borrow nicely and give proper credit!
**If you have an idea/tutorial you would like me to consider for a feature, email me. I'd love to see!
