I don't know what came over me yesterday but I had enough of the painted birds in my office window. Off they went.
I still hate the view so I want to replace it with something else. They hung around for 3 + years so that isn't so bad. I will say it feels a bit weird to walk past my office door and not see them there.
Three years is a lot longer than some things last in my house! Change is always good. I know you'll think of something great.

The birds were really cute, but when you've had enough you've had enough. I'm sure you'll come up with a super clever solution.
ReplyDeleteThose are really pretty but Im a bit on the cheap side when it comes to my office. Its easy enough to paint something for nothing - i just have to figure out what exactly I want to look at for the next few years.
ReplyDeleteFair enough - especially if you have the skills (which I certainly don't!). Have fun!
ReplyDeleteIf you can plant outside the Leylandee Cyprus grows 7 feet taller per year. excellent way to hide neighbors.
ReplyDeleteI never tire of your office. Perhaps a different window treatment?
ReplyDeleteThe birds were pretty, but change is good. Looking forward to see what you do with the window.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, sometimes you just need a little change to freshen things up. Now you'll have the fun goal of finding something new!
ReplyDeleteAwww I loved them!
ReplyDeleteThe birds were kind of cute. But totally understand getting tired of them. May be you could try window films? I used them on my front door. There are some pretty neat looking ones.

I'm in love with maps at the moment and have seen some great windows on Pinterest covered in maps. Just a thought. Can't wait to see what you end up with.
ReplyDeleteAh! I just realized. If it were my window I would change it out for leaded glass. It would look glorious and yummy.
ReplyDeleteBed Bath and Beyond has new linen white and off white long curtains with gromets that can can be hung ceiling to floor. You would add size to the window letting light in when you like. They are easily slide across to open and close. They look very expensive, but with your 20% off coupon can be quite reasonable.
