Its Friday (yippee!) - time for another Steal this Idea* feature - a tiny show of appreciation for a well executed tutorial.
Today's feature falls into the "of course" category straight from Viva Cindy - an easy DIY book ledge that anyone can love. Especially great when you have an usually sized space and can't find something ready made or just have some extra wood laying around.

Check out all the details as well as this nursery's fabulous striped ceiling over at Viva Cindy.
postscript: *When I say steal, I really mean borrow nicely and give proper credit!
**If you have an idea/tutorial you would like me to consider for a feature, email me. I'd love to see!
such a great idea and so so easy to do!
ReplyDeleteGenius Such a Great Easy Design!
ReplyDeleteI love how versatile picture ledges are. It's so easy to change things out on a whim. We built some(by we, I mean I designed, and my handy hubby built) DIY picture ledges last year and I love being able to move things around and add new elements to the wall without having to patch holes in the wall. Love the simplicity of her ledges! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis would actually be so great for beside my bed. I review books, so I always have several I keep on hand. Right now I have about ten on a TV tray in my bedroom. No dice. BUT I need a place for them. This could work...
ReplyDeleteLove these little ledges!
ReplyDeleteEasy and very simple as it is. And thank you also for a kind idea of sharing a very great work of yours.
ReplyDeleteThis is one good DIY! Anybody can do this.
ReplyDeleteHow did you hang the shelf on the wall?
ReplyDeleteI used those metal picture hangers. See my response above for a photo.
