Discover hidden storage space + win $100 giftcard from Martha Stewart
It's no secret I'm a Martha Stewart fan so when I spotted her Martha Stewart Home Office™ with Avery™ line in Staples a few months ago, I stopped to fondle nearly all of the products (shhh! Don't tell anyone I'm an inappropriate paper toucher!).
Despite being one of the most unorganized people you'll ever meet, Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery collection had quite a few things that got me thinking up fun ways I could put them to use.
I was especially enamored with the labels and tags. Chalkboard and Dry Erase Labels made for kitchen storage would also make a great way to package Christmas gifts. ElastiNote® Tags are perfect for those token hostess gifts (jars of jam, candle or bottle of wine) that I never know how to package quickly on the way out the door. Or maybe one of these brightly colored journals would be perfect to keep in my purse for notes when inspiration strikes.
I resisted the desire to dump the entire display into my cart, but I knew I'd be back one day. Today is that day! Avery sent me a bunch of Martha Stewart Home Office products to try out and I went to work! I feel like Vasco da Gama because I've discovered a simple way to use "hidden" storage space, and that makes me very happy. Some Martha Stewart file folder labels helped me make it feel polished and organized rather than thrown together out of necessity. And isn't the whole point of great organizational supplies to make the most of what we have?
You already know baby's nursery doesn't have a closet so I've been trying to come up with creative storage options. Enter the hallway closet that has a perfectly good door going to complete waste. It took less than 5 minutes to get this going. Now I just need to fill it with baby necessities, and I'll be all set!
I hung the tree on the door and wrote out a few labels for the baby gear I do have in my stash. They were the perfect size for the area above the pocket. As I get more, I'll add more sections. Should I need to change it around, I'll have no problem just putting a new label right on top. Hooray! I'm loving this so much, I ordered more trees so I can use the same system in my linen closet and pantry.
So now that you know how much fun this line is, don't you want your own?
Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery and BlogHer are giving away a $100 Staples gift card to one lucky winner. Enter for a chance to win now by telling me: How would use use one of the items from the Martha Stewart line to help organize your home?
