This past Saturday was my baby shower and I am one lucky mama. I knew the date but nothing else - all details were kept under wraps by the amazing host so naturally I was super excited to see what was in store for me. She did such a fabulous job!. Not only was every detail beautiful, she also surprised us all with a salsa lesson to keep us entertained. So much fun! And of course I got a ton of fabulous goodies to get ready for baby. Had such a wonderful time and feeling extra loved this weekend. I could not have asked for more!
And yes - everyone has already told me how much bigger I look this week than last so no need to point it out. I seemed to have exploded just in time to for maternity photos (which were done on Friday - I'm anxiously awaiting the proofs). My house is now chock full of adorable pink outfits, board books and other infant essentials awaiting organization. Tick tock, tick tock.

ReplyDeleteThat photo wasn't taken or edited by me but if you have photoshop, its very easy to do. If you don't, I dont think it can be done but I could be wrong.
ReplyDeleteYou are glowing and the shower looked fab! May I ask where was the shower held? It looks like a small restaurant in Brooklyn, I just can't think of the name.... Thanks in advance!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Everyone will have loads of parenting advice...but take special care to listen to the advice regarding how to care for yourself after the baby comes. It's easy to get busy, discover 'Mommy mode' and pretty soon you are neglecting not just your appearance but also your health. Take special care of yourself and never feel guilty about it because baby needs a healthy happy mommy.
