I think I've settled on a playhouse color scheme.
At first I thought about doing something with candy color stripes (ala Kate Spade's floors) but something stuck in my mind about black, white and green - modern but still fun. I can't wait to get started.
I'm sure being the type of person who not only concerns herself with such trivial things as a playhouse color scheme but also physically puts one down on paper probably says a lot about some sort of deep rooted psychological issue. I may be crazy but at least I know it!
Who cares? Its going to have an emerald green door! (I'm still not decided on my own front door which should probably be a higher priority this is my version of procrastination!)
Love it! And, for what it's worth, I don't think that is crazy at all! :)
ReplyDeleteThat just means you are just as crazy as me :)
DeleteGreat color scheme-- maybe painting the play house will help you decide what color for your own door. We're all a little crazy in our own special ways lol
ReplyDeleteVery true!
DeleteEmerald green for your front door too. Then they'll match! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm tempted but I have a mostly glass front door so I dont think it will have the same punch as a solid emerald door. But its definitely on the maybe list.
DeleteThe color for your door will probably strike you midway through painting the floor :)
ReplyDeleteLove! What about a kelley green door with some brass accents?! Maybe a letter slot and a door knocker? You really shouldn't evolve me though because you might end up with a fireplace and loft :p
ReplyDeleteI can't quite picture what theinside will feel like so I haven't made any plans in there just yet. But a faux fireplace sounds like a good idea ;)
DeleteI love it! And you're not crazy - you're very creative. I love getting excited about a project like this.
