The idea is hardly new (hello, its the poor man's Trompe-l'Å“il) but in this form its a lot more fun! Considering I still love chalkboard walls and hand sketched everything so its no surprise I adore this - you could even say I'm drawn to it. Ha!
Have you tried something like this in your own home? Please share! I'd love to see!
I can't wait to see what you do! You are always so clever!
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to try something like this! I figured I would wait until we have kids so I can utilize this technique in the baby nursery. It sounds like a fun (if not tedious) project.
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning! I also lack the drawing talents needed to pull this off. I did learn to draw furniture and interior perspectives in college but I'm not sure that expensive degree would help me in any shape or form. I think this would look great behind my bed.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll let you tackle it first though lol.
I love hand drawn stuff! Especially in black and white. I immediately thought of this when I saw your images: http://www.behance.net/Gallery/swedish-province-flowers--wallpaper/45618
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you come up with!
I love that first one!
ReplyDeletehave you seen the wall Alisa Burke did in her home? if not, www.alisaburke.com and check her blog-very cool.
