I've become a little obsessed with the idea of having a berry bush container garden (specifically these that seem to get good reviews) but I've never had luck with growing anything edible before. I am limited to just using large containers so maybe that's the problem or maybe I've just not been diligent enough? Anyone with some tips for me?
Speaking of that to-do list: if your weekend includes painting, stop over to My Colortopia to read my take on the 3 Biggest Myths of Choosing the Right Paint Color.

Also speaking of the to-do list, I'm getting started on my Halloween projects. Yes, I already have a plan for this year and lots of ideas of how to execute it. I know I keep saying I'm going to bring the Spider Infestation back one year but I hate to repeat myself. (I like to think of my giant spider as a backup should disaster strike and my planned theme not work out.)

I don't know what it is about this time of year, but I always start getting excited about Halloween as summer approaches as well. :) Great paint tips
ReplyDeleteIn my experience, you cannot kill raspberries. I'd give them a go.
ReplyDeleteBe sure to use netting over the bushes to keep the birds out!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to see what you get up to for Hallowe'en!! I've started planning our home decor, but not sure what we'll be doing costume-wise...
ReplyDeleteRaspberries pop up everywhere even when you rid yourself of the bush itself. A very strong plant indeed.
