Ok, so maybe not technically my neighbor as this is a totally different (and much hipper) part of Brooklyn. And chances are, if you can afford this pad, you would not want to mix with peasants like me. But I still had to share. It's way out of my league but lots of inspiration here.

ps: no, I am not moving but I just enjoy looking at real estate listings.
As a fellow Windsor Terrace homeowner, I have to say-- our neighborhood is MUCH hipper and cooler!
ReplyDeleteDo you really think so?
DeleteDon't get me wrong - I love the friendly vibe our nabe has so I wouldn't trade it - but I don't think we get many hip points. I've been here for nearly my entire life and Windsor Terrace has stayed pretty much the same. Sure we have a few more hipster touches now but I don't really want it to get too cool - I like it the way it is.
I actually agree. While it doesn't feel undiscovered, it also doesn't feel trendy. And it is a small town! For example, I often get off the same F train as you, but don't want to be stalker-y by telling you I love your blog- so you can be famous and have your privacy! :)
DeleteI have to note that the chairs at the table in the first pic would be so uncomfortable that it would more likely hurt my hip rather than be hip. Otherwise beautiful spaces.
ReplyDeleteThose stools are one of the few things I don't like about the design choices here but nothing is ever perfect I guess :)
DeleteLove that kitchen! all the white and the hanging pendants... sigh.
ReplyDeleteBrowsing real estate listings is such a fun hobby!
I just saw a listing for a house on the promenade... so amazing!! Love looking at Bk listings.
ReplyDeleteoooh, i love the white on white!!
ReplyDeleteI like your house better. You kitchen is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteDream home.
ReplyDeleteLooking through real estate listings is so much fun! I am a broke college student, so it's a far away dream for me, but it doesn't hurt to dream and admire.
ReplyDeleteThat kitchen is killing me.
