The contest will be judged by design goddess SwissMiss, former borough president Marty Markowitz and uncommon goods founder David Bolotsky. What fun - I can't wait to see the winning designs. ReplyDeleteMy favorite Brooklyn neighborhood is where I used to live before I moved to Chicago- Carroll Gardens! I love the vintage, classy design vibe at so many of those delicious restaurants. I miss living in that area all the time!

ReplyDeleteI've only visited Brooklyn twice, and I'm embarrassed to say I don't know which "neighborhood" I was in both times but I certainly enjoyed it. It seems to be such an eclectic design sanctuary - unique and not afraid to be boldly different...similar to Portland OR, where we lived for a while

ReplyDeleteMy husband used to work in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn! Although the neighborhood was rough, the architecture on some of the old buildings was stunning!
