Honestly, I find the term "man cave" sort of irritating despite being guilty of using it often enough. So when I saw "she shed", I mentally put a finger down my throat. But if you can put aside the cliche, it's worth a drool to admire a few of these beauties. Add this to my list of things my imaginary country house must have.

Instead of a she shed, I'd love a space where I could DIY and make a complete mess without having to worry about destroying my house while being inviting and well lit. A colorful pegboard full of tools perfectly hung, shelves of paint cans, a little hidden speaker to listen while I work and a comfortable chair. What about you? What would you find in your dream she shed?
When we turned our basement into a real room with a full bath, Murphy bed, sitting area, etc., we partitioned off a small area for me to have a craft corner. It has French doors, cabinets, and a work surface, and I LOVE it. If my husband can't find me, he knows to look in my craft corner.
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, and yes!!
DeleteIt is really cute, but I think I would rather have a porch and sip tea.
ReplyDeleteCan't we have both? :)
DeleteThe BF is going to build me a studio this summer. Can't wait!
