house. The beach house that is nearly a secondary character on Showtime's "The Affair". Or maybe I'm just having fantasies of taking off the entire summer to eat lobsters and bike around Montauk. Either way, I wouldn't kick this house out of bed for eating crackers.
Waterfront? Check. Gorgeous charcoal and grey exterior? Check. Pool? Check. White kitchen? Check. The stuff dreams are made of.
I tried to find the actual location and possibly an old real estate listing to see if I could find more photos but alas my searches yielded nothing. Maybe this is the house fantasy of a set designer.
If you are curious, the series is as much about an extramarital affair gone wrong as clash of classes that happen in beach towns during the summer months. I've been totally hooked on the series and fully admit to binge watching where time permits. Anyone else watching?

ReplyDeleteGod yes. And glad to hear I'm not the only one getting hot and bothered over the house, ha!! I love Maura Tierney (??) but the two leads are not floating my boat. It's one of those shows I watch because I want to pretend I'm not a tired single mom living in Minnesota ;)

DeleteI don't find Noah to be that attractive but that is part of the allure of the show. They are just sort of normal people. TV normal but still not super gorgeous and glam.
I watched the the whole season! I really like it and that house is amazing!

ReplyDeleteI watched the season but I don't care for Noah and Alison. And the way they botched the finale, not sure if I'll continue but yeah, the house is awesome!
ReplyDeleteIt's weird b/c I don't find either Noah or Alison particularly likable but I still am hooked on the show. I don't really see how they could parlay the same feel of season one into multiple seasons but I'm hoping they prove me wrong.
